About the artist:  Kat Warren is a freelance writer and photographer, whose photos have appeared in both national and regional home design magazines. As a self taught photographer, she has morphed her love of capturing beautiful houses into a love for all things beautiful.  Her images, which cover everything from flowers to eagles and span oceans to prairies, have won the hearts of designers and gallery owners alike.  With every photo, Kat seeks to capture the very essence of her subjects and blur the lines between photography and painting.

Kat, who is married with two children and two dogs, currently resides along a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay, an area which inspires her daily.
